Mr. Siegfried, commonly known as Siggi, Huegemann is the initiator, co-founder and Secretary General of the African Hydrogen Partnership (AHP), the only continent-wide African non-profit umbrella association solely dedicated to the development of green and natural (native) hydrogen. He is the founder and Director of Hypowa, a UK based company specializing in the development of renewable energy and hydrogen projects in Africa. Hypowa is one of the two Founding Members of the AHP.

Mr. Huegemann holds a Master of Commerce (Finance and Quantitative Analysis) degree from University of Otago in New Zealand.

Holding an MSc Energy Engineering and certified in project and results-based management, she brings a systems-thinking approach to policy advocacy, business development, and capacity building.
Sana has led cross-border initiatives with the UNFCCC, and private sector partners, focusing on clean energy transitions, climate innovation ecosystems, and the inclusion of technologies like green hydrogen in national energy strategies. While at the UNFCCC Regional Collaboration Centre, she supported 19 countries in East and Southern Africa to advance their NDCs and long-term strategies through innovation gap analysis, stakeholder engagement, and climate finance support.

Holding an MBA in Project Planning and Management from Amoud University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Al-Neelain University, he combines academic rigor with practical expertise. His ongoing training in Applied Data Science at WorldQuant University further enhances his capacity for evidence-based policy work.
Adept in quantitative and qualitative research, he employs tools such as Python, R, and Power BI to translate complex data into actionable insights. His policy contributions include the establishment of the Anti-Human Trafficking and Smuggling Agency in Somaliland, where he designed its administrative and operational frameworks, and the development of a national disease surveillance system for the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, integrating advanced analytical methodologies to enhance public health monitoring.
