His policy contributions include the establishment of the Anti-Human Trafficking and Smuggling Agency in Somaliland, where he designed its administrative and operational frameworks, and the development of a national disease surveillance system for the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, integrating advanced analytical methodologies to enhance public health monitoring.
